Martin Public Schools Mission and Vision Statements
What is a Mission and Vision Statement and why do we have them?
A mission statement defines the organization's business, its objectives, and how it will reach these objectives. It expresses our school's core values and purpose and sets forward what we strive to do, how we do it and why we do it.
A vision statement is usually shorter than a mission statement and it describes the future-facing goals and ambitions of our school. It distills our school district's vision for our future in a way that outlines our districts long-term goals. It serves to be our guide or our "mantra" that inspires us to work toward the greater goal of Martin Public Schools: Helping our students to be the very best they can be.
